Pivdennoukrainsk received four diesel generator sets from international partners, which they plan to use in kindergartens during power outages.

This was reported in the Pivdennoukrainsk City Council.

It is noted that in July of this year, the USAID project «Improving the work efficiency and accountability of local self-government bodies» «Hoverla» was signed between the South Ukrainian City Council and the American non-governmental organization DAI Global LLC. As part of this cooperation, the city received «ALIMAR ALMARAA» generators with a capacity of 108 kW each and a total cost of 1 million 937 thousand 881 hryvnias.

«It is planned to hand over four generators for the balance to the Department of Education to ensure the stable and uninterrupted operation of food units in kindergartens in case of power outages,» the message reads.

According to Tetiana Tatsienko, head of the Department of Economic Development, a strategy for the development of the Mykolaiv region is currently being developed within the framework of the «Hoverla» project.
