This was announced by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, Vitalii Kim, during a national telethon.
He noted that various regions of Ukraine joined in to help the capital, as the situation in Kyiv was critical.
«The situation is such that all regions are helping Kyiv as much as they can, because the situation there is really difficult. First of all, because of electricity, on which heating depends,» said Vitalii Kim.
Vitalii Kim explained that unlike Mykolaiv, where heating worked with water, the capital had problems with electricity, heat and water at the same time.
«We had water heating, but in Kyiv, in addition to no electricity, there was no heating or water. And that's a problem for people. That's why we sent two teams to help Kyiv,» added the head of the region.
We will remind you that a week ago, almost 2,000 high-rise buildings in Kyiv were without heat. Due to the lack of heat and light in homes in some areas after Russian shelling, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, on behalf of the government, prepared 41 field kitchens for operation. Four of them are already working and providing food for State Emergency Service employees.
The head of the Desnianskyi District State Administration, Maksym Bakhmatov, said that in Kyiv, particularly in Troieschyna, preparations are being made to install pit latrines due to the threat of water supply and sewage pipes freezing.
