Plans are underway to establish the «Diavei» industrial park, covering an area of 11 hectares, in Domanivka, Mykolaiv region, in 2026. Local authorities have now commissioned the development of a detailed site plan.

This was revealed in a comment to NikVesti by Viktor Vlasiuk, chairman of the Domanivka Settlement Council.

The industrial park is planned to be located on the site of the former dairy complex — in the direction of the village of Zbroshkove. A contract for the development of a detailed site plan has already been signed via the Prozorro system, and work is expected to be completed within four months. A strategic environmental assessment is also planned.

«We have allocated 11 hectares. First and foremost, we are looking for investors or partners who will come in and work primarily in the field of secondary raw material processing. Why? Because we are keen to bring order to this matter. This involves rubber production and polyethylene processing. Of course, there will also be agriculture, storage and processing,» said Viktor Vlasiuk.

To date, the chairman of the village council clarified, five companies have approached them with intentions to set up their production facilities within the industrial park.

«But there’s a whole procedure involved. First, we’re drawing up a detailed site plan, then we’ll obtain all the necessary permits, including environmental ones and so on. And once we’ve got all that, we’ll be ready to open the industrial park. At that point, we’ll be working directly with our partners, who have already given their preliminary consent to participate in this,» added Viktor Vlasiuk.

He expressed the hope that the industrial park would be registered by August 2026.

«To be honest, we’re in a hurry. If we have this document and the procedure is completed — public consultation and all the other such steps — then we’re planning for August. In other words, we want to be registered by August,» he said.

Viktor Vlasiuk explained that the community is keen for the industrial park to specialise primarily in raw material processing, given the volume of waste stored at the local landfill.

«To be frank, here’s why we’re primarily interested in raw material processing. We have an uncertified landfill within the Domanivka community. It’s uncertified for now, but we’re actually in the process of formalising it. According to experts’ estimates, there’s already a million tonnes of waste there. We need to process it and bring it up to standard. Why? Because the Domanivka community is the first in Ukraine to want to join Europe. But the requirements are such that if you don’t have a landfill site, sorting, recycling, in-depth processing and so on, then you don’t even have the right to count on European loans,» explained Viktor Vlasiuk.

Industrial parks in the Mykolaiv region

In July 2024, discussions took place in Mykolaiv regarding the creation of two industrial parks: the private «Techno Park Voznesensk» and the municipal «Mykolaiv». The villages of Novofedorivka, Berizky, Nova Odesa and Bashtanka also submitted their proposals.

There are already two industrial parks registered in the region, but neither of them is operational yet. These are the SUNART industrial park in the Kryve Ozero community and the «Techno Park Voznesensk» industrial park in the Voznesensk community.

Mykolaiv Mayor Oleksandr Sienkevych notes that the state should support the creation of technology and industrial parks in war-torn areas to generate jobs and boost budgets. City Council Secretary Dmytro Falco adds that a free economic zonewill open a ‘window of opportunity’ for investors.

The Head of the Regional State Administration, Vitalii Kim, also outlined plans for a new industrial park in the region. They are considering the possibility of locating enterprises there for the processing of agricultural raw materials and food production, the manufacture of building materials and furniture, and the production of finished metal products and metalworking.
