Bank accounts in Switzerland and Austria, a new plot of land in Odesa: what Mykolaiv City Council member Kapatsyna declared

Mykola Kapatsyna, a member of the Mykolaiv City Council elected from the «Servant of the People» party, has submitted his income declaration for 2025. Last year, he became the owner of a plot of land in Odesa and corporate rights in Dnipro-Buzkyi Terminal LLC, valued at 2.3 million hryvnias, and also carried out bank transactions in Switzerland.
This is stated in the declaration published in the Unified State Register of Declarations, according to NikVesti.
The councillor has owned property in Mykolaiv since previous years: non-residential premises measuring 56.9, 154.5 and 140.6 square metres, a plot of land measuring 1,000 square metres, a flat measuring 161.8 square metres, and a residential house measuring 84.6 square metres.
In the Pervomaiskyi district, Mykola Kapatsyna owns nine plots with a total area of almost 48 hectares. The MP leases three plots in Mykolaiv measuring 2,416, 175 and 317 square metres.
In Odesa, the councillor owns a house measuring 231.7 square metres. He has also declared an apartment in Odesa measuring 139.5 square metres, which is jointly owned by Mykola Kapatsyna’s children and, presumably, his relative Kseniia Kapatsyna.
The councillor’s wife owns flats of 45.5 and 114 square metres in Kyiv, as well as two parking spaces.
In addition, since 2022, Mykola Kapatsyna has been renting a 179.5-square-metre flat in Austria. And in 2025, he purchased a 536-square-metre plot of land in Odesa.
The councillor owns 18 vehicles, purchased between 2016 and 2024: Kawasaki Vulkan and Indian motorcycles, a 2012 Jaguar XK saloon, a 2023 Hyundai Tucson, a 2022 BMW 740D XDRIVE and a 2022 BMW 740, a Schmitz trailer, a Terex mobile crane, two Superior telescopic handlers, an Iveco lorry, six forklifts of various types and a reach stacker.
His wife owns a 2023 Audi Q7, a 2022 Jaguar F-PACE and a 2016 Ford F150, which is used by Mykola Kapatsyna.
Also he owns 100% of the corporate rights in the limited liability companies «Reidovyi Terminal Concord», «Irbis Plus», «Dalkhs», «8 Prychal», «Narym», «Business Solutions» and «NK Grain». Since 2025, Mykola Kapatsyna has owned Dnipro-Buzkyi Terminal LLC, valued at 2.3 million hryvnias.
In 2025, the councillor declared 1.9 million hryvnias in income from business activities, 1,490 hryvnias in additional benefits from Card Industrial LLC and the First Ukrainian International Bank. Mykola Kapatsyna also received salaries from «Dalkhs», «8 Prychal», «Narym», «Business Solutions», totalling 424,235 hryvnias.
He also declared 109,981 hryvnias in insurance payments. Furthermore, the councillor reported interest income of 142,729 hryvnias from Oschadbank and 278,438 hryvnias from J. Safra Sarasin in Switzerland.
The councillor’s wife did not declare any income from business activities.
Mykola Kapatsyna’s cash assets include 1.2 million hryvnias, 20,000 US dollars and 430,000 euros.
Among the funds lent as repayable financial assistance to companies, Mykola Kapatsyna listed 2.6 million hryvnias (8 Prychal), 13.4 million hryvnias (Narym), 85,604 hryvnias (Irbis Plus), 600,000 hryvnias (NK Grain), 15,084 euros (Vistatrade LTD, Cyprus), 98,571 dollars (Talliar Limited, Cyprus), €150,093 (Talliar Limited, Cyprus), $5,990 (Millenio Business LTD, UK), and €19,629 (Millenio Business LTD, UK).
The MP holds a total of 259,821 hryvnias in bank accounts in Ukraine, 162,769 dollars in Ukraine and Poland, 176,407 euros in Switzerland and Austria, and 11 zlotys in Poland.
In his financial liabilities for 2025, Mykola Kapatsyna declared a loan of 600,000 hryvnias in Ukraine. In Switzerland, the councillor repaid a total of 163.6 million hryvnias in financial obligations dating back to 2022, spent 541,044 hryvnias on educational services for a family member, 1.1 million hryvnias on property rent, and declared 953,468 hryvnias in loan repayments. In addition, he paid 12.2 million hryvnias in outstanding credit card debt during 2025.
In Germany, the councillor paid 323,285 hryvnias for medical services; in Slovakia, 175,860 hryvnias for travel services; and in Switzerland, 264,036 hryvnias for consultancy services.
