On the night of June 17, the Russian army struck an energy facility in southern Ukraine and a gas infrastructure facility in another front-line region.
As reported by the Ministry of Energy, the building and electric cable were damaged at the energy facility. The staff were not injured.
It is noted that in another front-line region, equipment at a gas infrastructure facility was damaged due to shelling. There were no casualties.
«Due to damage to gas distribution networks as a result of enemy shelling in the Donetsk region, 108 consumers have been disconnected from gas supply,» the message reads.
It will be recalled that the Minister of Energy of Ukraine Herman Halushchenko said that the spring massive Russian attacks caused damage to the energy sector of Ukraine in the amount of more than one billion dollars.
