In 2023, exports from the Mykolaiv region fell by 37%

In 11 months of 2023, Mykolaiv Oblast exported goods worth 941.1 million dollars. This is 37.2% less than in the same period of 2022.
This is evidenced by the data of the Main Department of Statistics in the Mykolaiv region.
The Mykolaiv region sold grain crops abroad for 555.3 million dollars (-25%), seeds and fruits of oil plants for 143.1 million (-34.7), fats and oils for 138.6 million (-53.5%).
The import of goods to the Mykolaiv region in 2023 also decreased by 29%. In total, the region purchased goods worth 490.2 million dollars from abroad.
In terms of types of goods, on the contrary, the supply of imported fertilizers to the region increased by 144.3% (purchased for 59.4 million dollars). Fuel, oil and petroleum products were imported by 76.4 million (-67.8), nuclear boilers, machines and reactors by 68.2 million (-10.5), motor vehicles by 67.2 million (-2, 9%).
It will be recalled that the USA predicts that in the 2023/24 marketing year , both export and production of wheat will increase in Ukraine.
It also recently became known that Britain is investing 25 million dollars in a program to help Ukrainian exports and imports of food products.
