Also, one-time assistance of 30,000 hryvnias will be paid to the families of the dead civilians in the city. Before that, 20 thousand hryvnias were paid each.

In addition, by the decision of the Executive Committee, a new item was introduced into the list of measures of the «Social Protection» program regarding reimbursement of the cost of erecting tombstones for citizens who died (deceased) as a result of enemy shelling.

«Until now, we paid only in connection with the death of these civilians who died in our city. Now the townspeople will also have the right to compensation for the installation of gravestones,» added Serhii Vasylenko, director of the Department of Labor and Social Protection of the City Council.

We will remind that out of more than 126,000 internally displaced persons living in Mykolaiv region, only 33,000 citizens will continue to receive payments in 2024.
