The amount of damage to Ukraine's ecology since the start of the full-scale invasion has reached ₴3.1 trillion

Since the beginning of the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation, Ukraine has suffered environmental damage totaling over 3.1 trillion hryvnias, of which atmospheric air, water resources, soils, and the nature reserve fund suffered the most.
According to the State Ecological Inspectorate of Ukraine, environmental damage is estimated at 3 trillion 131 billion 906 million 3637 hryvnias, namely:
Atmospheric air:
- Burning of petroleum products — 138.7 billion hryvnias
- Forest fires — 612.0 billion hryvnias
- Other fires — 6 billion hryvnias
Water resources:
- Pollution of water bodies — 48.9 billion hryvnias
- Contamination of water bodies — 9 billion hryvnias
- Unauthorized use of water — 36.8 billion hryvnias
Soils and lands:
- Land pollution — 1.17 trillion hryvnias
- Soil pollution — 19.9 billion hryvnias
Nature Reserve Fund (NRF):
- Damage to flora — 150.1 billion hryvnias
- Destruction and damage to trees and plants — 561.6 billion hryvnias
We remind you that as of September, the amount of ecological damage to the Mykolaiv region since the beginning of the Russian Federation's full-scale invasion of Ukraine amounted to over 90 billion hryvnias.
