State Property Fund prepares scientific institutes of fisheries and land management in Mykolaiv for sale

The State Property Fund of Ukraine has included 42 objects in Mykolaiv region in the list of privatisation for 2025.

This was announced on Monday, 20 January, by the head of the SPFU's regional office, Oleh Sokol, according to NikVesti.

Two scientific institutes will be offered for sale at an electronic auction during the first quarter: SE «Southern Research and Design Institute for the Development of the Fisheries Fleet» and SE «Mykolaiv Research and Design Institute of Land Management».

In addition to these objects, the list of privatisation includes unified property complexes, individual property, construction in progress and social and cultural facilities. In addition, in January, an additional four objects belonging to the State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection were inspected and proposals for their inclusion in the list were submitted.

«The list of objects to be privatised in 2025 includes 42 objects in Mykolaiv region, of which 10 are single property complexes, 30 are separate property, one object of unfinished construction and one of social and cultural purpose,» said Oleh Sokol.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian government has unblocked the privatisation of state-owned property in Mykolaiv region. Previously, the privatisation process was suspended due to the fact that Mykolaiv region was included in the list of territories belonging to the combat zone or close to the combat zone.

Thus, in early March 2024, the only property complex of the state enterprise «Research Plant of the Institute of Pulse Processes and Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine» together with the recreation centre «Science» in Kobleve near the Black Sea were sold at auction for 10.8 million hryvnias. And in May 2024, the only property complex «of the Mykolaiv State Experimental Prosthetic and Orthopaedic Enterprise» was sold for 7.1 million hryvnias. In June, the state-owned enterprise «Mykolaiv Maritime Agency» was sold for 14.28 million hryvnias.

In 2024, 19 state-owned objects were privatised in Mykolaiv region. This brought in 37 million hryvnias 600 thousand to the budget.

A total of 28 small-scale privatisation objects were put up for sale, 19 of which have already found new owners. Another 1 object has become a transitional one and is awaiting the signing of a sale agreement.
