Payroll taxes accounted for 38% of Mykolaiv's budget last year

Taxes and fees on personal income (deductions from salaries) accounted for 38% of Mykolaiv's budget revenues in 2024. This is evidenced by the data from the report on the implementation of the budget of Mykolaiv in 2024, which was reviewed by journalists NikVesti.

The draft decision to approve the budget execution report, which will be submitted to the deputies of the Mykolaiv City Council, states that last year the city's budget revenues totalled 5.98 billion hryvnias.

Tax revenues amounted to 3.8 billion hryvnias (102.4% of the plan), which is 64.21% of the city's budget revenues.

The budget revenues of Mykolaiv-2024 from the payment of tax and personal income tax amounted to 2.3 billion hryvnias, or 38% of all budget revenues.

As for other major tax revenues of the city budget:

• Excise taxes — 392 million hryvnias;
• Property tax — 413.6 million hryvnias;
• Single tax — 707 million hryvnias (85% of which is tax from individual entrepreneurs);
