In Kherson, 14 residents will receive almost 22.6 million hryvnias in compensation for destroyed housing due to Russian attacks.
According to Roman Mrochko, head of the city's military administration, the decision was made by the relevant commission. In particular, 12 applicants received housing certificates, and two received monetary compensation for reconstruction.
He emphasised that compensation is currently only available for destroyed residential properties. Thus, the commission rejected four applicants because their homes were damaged, not destroyed.
It is noted that the meeting decided to resume consideration of six applications from community residents. In addition, experts will inspect 28 properties that, according to preliminary indications, cannot be repaired or reconstructed.
As a reminder, three people were killed and nine others were injured in Kherson region during the day due to Russian shelling.
