Mykolaiv drivers paid over ₴2.6 million in transport tax to local budgets

In January-September 2025, the local budgets of the Mykolaiv region were replenished with about 2.6 million of transport tax.

This was reported by the Main Department of the State Tax Service in Mykolaiv region.

The bulk of the revenues — namely 1.4 million hryvnias — was paid by individuals, and another 1.2 million hryvnias came from legal entities.

The tax service reminds that the transport tax is one of the main sources of local budget revenues.

The tax is usually imposed on passenger cars up to five years old and whose average market value exceeds 375 minimum wages.

Individuals pay the vehicle tax within 60 days of receiving a tax notice, while legal entities pay it in advance on a quarterly basis by the 30th day of the month following the reporting quarter.

Earlier this year, car owners paid 2.3 million hryvnias in transport tax to the local budgets of Mykolaiv region over the first eight months of the year.
