Odessa region among leaders in terms of number of expensive cars: almost 50 premium cars registered in a year

Odesa region was among the top three regions where the most luxury cars were registered last year — 49 premium cars. For comparison, only three such cars appeared in Mykolaiv region.

This is evidenced by data from OpenDataBot, according to NikVesti.

Almost half of the expensive cars were registered in Kyiv and the surrounding region — 236 cars. Lviv region with 52 cars and Dnipropetrovsk region with 37 cars were also among the top regions.

A total of 504 cars subject to the «luxury tax» were imported into the country last year — 3.2 times less than in 2024 and the lowest figure in the last five years.

Electric cars became the most popular in the premium segment, accounting for 65% of imported cars, followed by hybrids (18%), petrol cars (17%), and diesel models (only 0.4%).

Most luxury cars are registered to private owners (82%), with businesses accounting for only 18%. The ultra-premium segment is represented by 21 Rolls-Royce Spectres, 7 Aston Martins, and 2 Lamborghinis.

It is worth noting that last year, the Odesa region was also among the top three leaders in terms of transport tax revenues, with almost 21 million hryvnias.
