«Even after he passed, there was a direct hit on the tram tracks. About 50 meters of tram tracks were damaged and 86 meters of contact network. The total losses of the enterprise amounted to about one million hryvnias,» said Yurii Smetana.

Specialists managed to quickly repair the tracks and fully restore the movement of electric transport.

«I am very grateful to my colleagues, with whom I have the honor to work — it is the energy management service, the track service, the auto service, who have already started working there from the first day, preparing spare parts that are needed for replacement. We completely restored traffic on this section in two days,» said Yurii Smetana.

According to the director of the enterprise, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, «Mykolaivelectrotrans» has lost more than 175 million hryvnias.

«This is damage to buildings, transport, infrastructure of the enterprise. The most important thing is that we have no dead workers. We will restore everything else, like the whole country,» added Yurii Smetana.
