Italy will help rebuild the building of Odesa Regional Children's Hospital

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration (RMA) Oleh Kiper.
«At the previous meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Italian Republic in Ukraine, we handed over the project for the restoration of the Odesa Regional Children's Clinical Hospital. Today, the Italian side has already given preliminary consent to the reconstruction of one of the buildings of the medical facility,» Oleh Kiper said.
In addition, he noted that the issue of assistance in the reconstruction of irrigation systems in the region is also being studied.
«The south of our region and some regions of Italy have a similar climate, so the experience and work of Italians in the field of land reclamation is very valuable for us. We look forward to further cooperation,» added the head of Odesa RMA.
It should be noted that at the beginning of February 2022, information about the restoration of the regional children's clinical hospital appeared on the Prozorro public procurement website. More than 313 million hryvnias were planned to be allocated for the repair works.
We will remind, in Mykolaiv, the emergency medical care hospital received a grant from the Japanese government in the form of medical equipment in the amount of 50,000 dollars.
