11 people died and 89 were injured after a rocket hit a high-rise building in Sumy

The number of people killed in Sumy as a result of the Russian attack on November 17 has increased to 11 people, including two children.

This was reported in the Main Department of the State Service for Emergency Situations in the Sumy Region.

«As of this morning, the number of dead as a result of the attack has increased to 11, including 2 children. Another 55 people were injured, including 8 children,» the State Emergency Service wrote as of 08:00.

Later, the State Emergency Service reported that the number of people injured as a result of the missile attack on Sumy had increased to 89 people, including 11 children. It is noted that among the dead are a 9-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl.

According to the Sumy Regional Military Administration, 11 people are in intensive care, including six children.

We will remind that also on November 17, Russian troops shelled Mykolaiv. As a result of the shelling, two women were killed, and four adults and two children were injured.

As a result of the attack in Mykolaiv, two residential buildings were destroyed and at least ten objects were damaged, including a high-rise building, four private houses, a shopping center, shops, non-residential premises and cars.

The «Portal» shopping center in Mykolaiv was also hit. The premises of the sports club «100TONN» were destroyed inside.
