In the Bashtan district, all communal facilities are equipped with generators.

As Vladyslav Dmytriv, the head of the Bashtanka district military administration, said during a press briefing, this allows uninterrupted work even in the absence of power supply.

«All our communal facilities are equipped with 100% generators, which make it possible to function effectively today, even in the conditions of a long-term lack of electricity supply,» said Dmytriv.

In addition, during the current year, 20 solar stations were installed in the district at communal facilities, in particular, at water channels and other key infrastructure institutions.

Also, Vladyslav Dmytriv reported that 95 invincibility points are operating in the district, which were used by more than 1,120 people this year.

How generators work

The principle of operation of an autonomous mini-power plant consists in the transformation of mechanical energy into electrical energy by means of such a phenomenon as electromagnetic induction. For this, the gasoline generator is equipped with an internal combustion engine, which rotates the rotor in a magnetic field, creating an alternating electric current. The generator design includes the following components:

  • internal combustion engine;
  • an alternator that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy;
  • fuel system;
  • cooling system;
  • automatic voltage regulation system;
  • management and control devices.
