Residents of Odesa who lost their homes due to Russian attacks will be able to receive rental assistance for up to one year.
This was announced by Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov.
«We made this decision at today's meeting of the executive committee based on the appeals of the victims. The assistance will be provided to cover the cost of renting temporary housing for up to 12 months,» wrote Hennadii Trukhanov.
He clarified that the assistance will not be provided if the victims or those registered in the damaged housing have another apartment in Odesa.
As a reminder, the roof of a residential building at 82 Vadym Blahovisnoyi Street (formerly Nikolska Street, — note) in the centre of Mykolaiv will be repaired, which was damaged by hostile shelling. 231.5 thousand hryvnias is allocated for these works.
