9 marines returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity

As part of a prisoner exchange, Ukraine managed to return 9 marines who were captured while defending Mariupol.
This was reported by the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi.
It is noted that among them are seven marines from the 36th Brigade and two from the 501st Battalion.
«We welcome our brothers to their native land of free Ukraine! We rejoice with their families and friends. We are proud of their courageous feat! The guys are currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation. We sincerely thank everyone who has made titanic efforts to bring our brothers back from Russian captivity!», the statement reads.
As a reminder, on 30 December, Ukraine returned 189 citizens home after being held in Russian captivity.
