Some residents of Mykolaiv left without heat, electricity and gas due to Russian attack

On the night of 22 January, some residents of residential buildings in Mykolaiv were left without heat, electricity and gas due to shelling.
This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Vitalii Kim.
It is noted that apartment blocks and private houses were damaged as a result of ammunition and debris.
«Gas supply was cut off to 14 subscribers, electricity was cut off to 94 subscribers, and 21 residential buildings were left without heating», the statement said.
It was also added that all utility services are currently working in the city to eliminate the consequences of the shelling. The district administrations of Zavodskyi and Tsentralnyi districts are examining the sites of the shelling to find out what materials are needed and to provide assistance to the victims.
Attack by Shahed drones on Mykolaiv on 21 January
Mykolaiv residents heard the first three explosions around 22:50. Later it became known that the Russian army attacked Mykolaiv with seven drones. Damage was reported in different parts of the city as a result of the shelling.
The authorities reported that two people were injured in the shelling. Vitalii Kim, head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, said that seven shaheds flew into Mykolaiv and nine more were shot down.
As of the morning of 22 January, it became known that the shelling had also damaged the municipal enterprise «Mykolaivelectrotrans».
The RMA reported that on the night of 22 January, air defence destroyed nine Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolaiv region.
The police also showed the consequences of the Russian attack on Mykolaiv. The shelling damaged residential buildings, infrastructure and non-residential premises.
According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region, the attic floor of an apartment building was partially destroyed, and a fire broke out on the sixth floor over an area of 100 square metres. The blast wave damaged windows in four multi-storey buildings, a private house and the door of a family outpatient clinic.
