The aftermath of the attack in Zaporizhzhia on 1 February. Photo: RMAOn the night of 1 February, Russia launched the most massive attack on Zaporizhzhia in recent times. The enemy sent 18 attack drones to the city.
This was reported by the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
As a result of the attack, fires broke out in different areas: private garages, cars and the roof of an educational institution caught fire. The blast wave damaged high-rise buildings, private houses and infrastructure. A car wash was also damaged.
«This is the largest explosion in recent times. A 57-year-old man was injured. He was treated by medics. He refused to be hospitalised,» the RMA said.
More than 400 subscribers lost power due to the strikes. A total of 97 rescuers and 26 units of SES equipment were on the scene, and all fires were extinguished.
