Russian attacks caused ₴2.5 million in damage to the environment in Mykolaiv region last months

In February, large-scale fires broke out in communities in the Mykolaiv region as a result of Russian attacks. The total amount of environmental damage is 2.5 million hryvnias.
According to the State Environmental Inspectorate, the fire engulfed energy infrastructure, industrial facilities, transport, warehouses and shops.
It is noted that the total mass of harmful emissions into the air was almost 540 tonnes.
Earlier it was reported that since the beginning of Russia's full-scale aggression, Ukraine has suffered environmental damage totalling more than 3.1 trillion hryvnias, with the air, water resources, soil and nature reserve fund being the most affected.
