On the afternoon of 16 October, a Su-34 was launched from the Black Sea. The air attack vehicle was directed towards the city of Mykolaiv.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The crash site has been identified, with no casualties. Relevant services are working at the scene to determine the type of aircraft.

The air alert in Mykolaiv was announced at 11:30 am. Half an hour later, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the aircraft was moving towards the city.

As a reminder, yesterday, 15 October, Russian troops fired at the Kutsurub community in Mykolaiv region with an FPV drone and artillery.

It should be noted that the Russians have been targeting civilians in three communities in Mykolaiv region with FPV drones: Ochakiv, Kutsurub and Halytsynove. Russians are launching drones from the territory of the temporarily occupied Kinburn Spit.
