Residents of the high-rise building at 9 Soborna Street in Mykolaiv have filed complaints against CHP due to the lack of heating during power outages and are demanding a recalculation of their bills.

The residents told the editorial office of NikVesti about this.

As is known, the temperature in the apartments is 10–13 degrees. Despite this, according to the residents, they receive bills as if they were receiving full service.

«I have a corner flat, and the temperature in the room is about 10°. We have a 16-storey building, and the generator should be installed on the pumps, but the housing and communal services department does not install it. It is not normal when the temperature in the flat is only 10° in such cold weather. The maximum temperature in apartments is 15° for those who have an inverter or air conditioner. In fact, we pay 2,000 hryvnias per month for heat that we don't have. And this is despite the fact that the radiators are cold, icy,» a resident of the building told NikVesti in a comment.

In particular, residents are demanding compensation for services not provided.

«In connection with the above, the contractor must ensure an appropriate level of service provision, recalculate the amount of payment for improperly provided or non-provided services, and pay a penalty to consumers in accordance with the terms of the contract for the provision of centralised heating, cold and hot water supply, and water disposal,» the document states.

We will remind you that the first deputy mayor of Mykolaiv, Vitalii Lukov, stated that residents of the building at 9 Soborna Street, who receive bills for heating despite its absence, must independently draw up reports together with the management company in order to receive a recalculation.

Vitalii Lukov added that it is impossible not to charge the entire building for heating, and that recalculations must be made individually.

In Mykolaiv, during power outages, heating problems were recorded in about 25 of the 1,324 buildings on the balance sheet of the regional heating company.
