The death toll from the attack on the «Epicenter» in Kharkiv has increased to 14, another 16 people are considered missing

The death toll rose to 14 as a result of the Russian attack on the «Epicentr» hypermarket in Kharkiv, which took place on May 25.

This was announced by the head of the RMA, Oleh Syniehubov.

In addition, as specified by the police, another 43 people were injured. And 16 people are considered missing.

The police headquarters and the forensic laboratory are working at the scene of the tragedy. The identification of the bodies of the dead is ongoing. Anyone who has lost contact with loved ones can contact the staff of the investigation department or call 102.

According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko, the fire in the hypermarket was extinguished for more than 16 hours. The fire spread over 13 thousand square meters.
