«The detainees are members of the NoName057(16) group, which emerged after the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine and declared its goal «to respond to the hostile and openly anti-Russian actions of Western Russophobes,» the message reads.

The main activity of the group is conducting DDoS attacks (distributed denial of service attacks) on the websites of state and private organizations of countries that support Ukraine.

It is reported that the investigation into the hackers detained in Spain is coordinated by the specialized prosecutor's office. The Spanish Civil Guard also said it was continuing its investigation in several directions to further identify those involved in the attacks.

It will be recalled that hackers from North Korea have already stolen more than $3.5 billion worth of cryptocurrencies.
