In Romania, on July 31, as part of the search for elements of drones that fell last week, fragments of Russian drones were found in the Čatalkioi district of Tulcea county.

This was reported by the Ministry of National Defense of Romania.

It is noted that the drones fell on the banks of the Danube after attacks by Russian troops on civilian objects and port infrastructure in Ukraine.

Also, according to the Ministry of Defense of the country, elements of drones have been detected near the settlements of Plauru and Periprava, Tulcea county.

«Regarding the other areas of damage that have been mentioned in the public space for possible falling drone fragments, such as Nikulicel or Cilia, the study did not confirm their presence,» the report said.

The Ministry of Defense notes that all the places where the wreckage was found are located outside the population centers, and no people or infrastructure elements were harmed.

Earlier, on the night of December 14, when Russia massively attacked the port infrastructure in the south of Ukraine with drones, a Russian drone fell on the territory of Romania.

After that, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Romania summoned the Russian ambassador in Bucharest Valery Kuzmin after the fall of a Russian drone on the territory of the country.

We will remind, on July 24, wreckage of Russian Shahed-type drones, which were launched against civilian objects in Ukraine near the Romanian border, was again discovered in Romania.
