Ukraine introduced new sanctions. The restrictions apply to collaborators and those who ensure the operation of the aviation infrastructure of the Russian Federation.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this in a new video message.

The head of state noted that «today he signed a number of sanctions decisions that were previously adopted by the NSDC.»

«Today (September 1, note) I signed several new sanctions decisions — NSDC sanctions. Almost 150 entities — legal entities and individuals — ensure the operation of Russia's aviation infrastructure. Also another package of sanctions against collaborators. Those who chose to work for evil — for war,» said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The president also emphasized that «the task for all representatives of Ukraine is to do everything to ensure that Ukrainian sanctions are synchronized with world sanctions.»

It will be recalled that the Council of the EU approved the 14th package of economic and individual restrictive sanctions against Russia.
