«We confirm our determination to support Ukraine in building a force capable of defeating Russian aggression today and deterring it in the future. To this end, we intend to provide a minimum base funding of EUR 40 billion over the next year,» the statement said.

«We confirm our unwavering commitment to Ukraine as a sovereign, democratic, independent state,» NATO leaders said, expressing confidence that their assistance has a significant effect on supporting Ukraine in resisting Russian aggression.

We will remind that on June 13, NATO member states approved the «operational plan for strengthening support to Ukraine», which includes increasing NATO's participation in the supply of weapons and training of the Ukrainian military.
