In Mykolaiv, they plan to launch 3D printer training for veterans of a full-scale war: they will be taught to print parts for prostheses.
The organizers of the project «Reintegration of male and female war veterans through the creation of educational opportunities» reported about this, NikVesti reports.
«Next year, we plan to hold a training program on a 3D printer, and we plan to teach the participants how to print cultivators for prostheses. That is, we will teach them to work with 3D printers and then, in a military context, to work with prostheses,» said Anastasiia Bilousova.
In general, the Adult Training and Education Center «South» in partnership with the DVV International organization and with the financial support of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany is planning to hold a number of master classes and training courses for Mykolaiv veterans and their families. Future electricians, SMM specialists and project managers will be trained.
«We will also have a sewing workshop, tailoring men's and women's clothing, a pottery studio where various products will be made, SMM, project management, graphic design and writing the right resume,» said the organizers.
Legal and career counseling will also be provided for veterans, in order to help them get a job and support them in opening their own business and FOP.
«We give families and veterans the opportunity to try different types of activities. According to research, 70% of veterans, people returning from the war, do not see themselves in the field they worked in before. The labor market is changing, people's skills are changing, and when people return here, it is very difficult for them to find themselves and remember how it was,» said one of the organizers of the Oleksandr Yushchyshen project.
The project is designed for 12 months. It already partially started in December this year and will continue until November 2024.
We would like to remind you that on Wednesday, December 13, as part of the project «Reintegration of war veterans and female war veterans through the creation of educational opportunities», an English language course for Mykolaiv veterans and their family members will start in Mykolaiv.
Also in 2024, as part of the same program, Mykolaiv military personnel, war veterans or members of their families can receive 20 grants of 10,000 euros to support or start their own business.
