Preparation for possible blackouts: in Mykolaiv they showed the work of one of the 27 «Points of Invincibility»

27 «Points of Invincibility» were deployed in Mykolaiv on the basis of communal institutions. Today, October 13, journalists were shown the preparation of one of them, located at the reception base.

This is reported by «NikVesti».

The preparation of «Points of Invincibility» in the city is due to the possible shelling of the power system of the Mykolaiv region by the forces of the Russian Federation. During the so-called blackouts, 27 points were created in the city. During the inspection of one of them, Mykolayiv Deputy Mayor Anatoliy Petrov said that these points are intended to provide assistance to those who need temporary shelter, especially in case of bad weather and difficult weather conditions. They have people on duty who are ready to receive citizens 24 hours a day if they face problems at home or need warmth and shelter.

— To date, 27 «Points of Invincibility» have been deployed and are functioning in Mykolaiv. There are people on duty at these points who can receive people who have problems at home or need heating around the clock. We rolled out «Points of Invincibility» again for autumn and winter seasons because we don't know what the future might bring with a neighbor like that. We still have six points in case of shelling. We can temporarily resettle people there until the circumstances are clarified. We have also prepared 14 mobile points — these are large tents with heating, in case there is a major lockdown, — said Anatoliy Petrov.

Details on the location of «Points of Invincibility» can be found on the website of the Department of Social Protection of the Mykolaiv Regional Administration.

Recall that from October 1, 402 «Points of Invincibility» function in the Mykolaiv region, which are designed to meet the needs of the population in case of emergency situations as a result of shelling of critical infrastructure of Ukraine by the Russian army.
