Anatolii Petrov is deputy mayor of Mykolaiv responsible for social and humanitarian affairs (as of December 2025). In October 2023 he said that the 27 Points of Invincibility in Mykolaiv could hold about 15 thousand people. In August 2025, after complaints from residents, Petrov inspected the Kazka children's park and called its sanitary condition satisfactory. In September 2025 he said that no city in Ukraine could provide quality meals for all schoolchildren, and in December city councillor Tetiana Dombrovska demanded his dismissal after a catering scandal in schools.
