On Valentine's Day, February 14, the National Bank puts into circulation the «Love» commemorative coin.

As reported in the regulator's press service, the circulation of the coin is up to 50,000 pieces.

The «Love» commemorative coin is made of nickel silver and has a denomination of five hryvnias. A stylized rose in the form of a heart is placed on the obverse. Its petals are the words «love» written in the most common languages of the world.

«This further emphasizes the universality and limitlessness of this feeling, which knows neither borders nor language barriers,» the NBU explained.

At the same time, the reverse of the coin shows a heart, from which the waves diverge evenly. Such a composition symbolizes the comprehensiveness of love, the vibrations of which reach the depths of the soul.

Starting today, coins will be sold in the online store of the National Bank, and gradually - by distributor banks.

As a reminder, the National Bank introduced a commemorative coin in the style of the 12-year Eastern calendar with the symbol of the new year — the Dragon. They decided to dedicate it to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
