Mykolaiv region deputies unanimously approved Zelenskyy's Victory Plan and asked for the support of international partners

Deputies of the Mykolaiv Regional Council unanimously supported President Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

The deputies voted for the relevant decision at the session on Thursday, October 31, NikVesti informs.

The head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council, Anton Tabunshchyk, read the text of the document, which provides for the support of the victory plan.

In addition, deputies on behalf of the territorial community call on international partners, including the foreign partner regions of the Mykolaiv Oblast — the Kingdom of Denmark, Pleven Region of the Republic of Bulgaria, Karlovy Vary County of the Republic of Croatia, People's Government of Shanxi Province of the People's Republic of China, Adjara Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Georgia, South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, Hyogo Prefecture of Japan, the Government/Administration of the Land of Lower Saxony of the Federal Republic of Germany, to support Ukraine, as the success of its implementation depends on the determination of the Allies.

During the discussion, deputy Alla Riazhskikh asked whether the plan includes the fight against corruption.

«I am confused by one point. Mr. President says that we have one enemy — the Russian aggressor. This is absolutely correct. But we see a marathon of looters every day. Every day we have scandals about corruption, disability and so on. Tell me, does this plan include the fight against corruption?», she asked.

To which Anton Tabunshchyk replied: «The president's plan includes all the points that are in the president's plan.»

After that, the question was put to a vote. The document was unanimously supported by 36 deputies.

We will remind that on October 29, the deputies of the Mykolaiv City Council plan to send an appeal to sister cities and partner cities of Mykolaiv with a request to support Zelenskyi's Victory Plan.

Earlier, the head of Mykolayiv RMA Vitalii Kim supported the Victory Plan of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Vitaly Kim thanked the president's team for the presentation of the Victory Plan. According to him, it is important that foreign partners see the unity of Ukraine in the implementation of this plan.

What does Zelenskyy's Victory Plan envisage?

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented the Plan for Ukraine's victory in the war during the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada on October 16. The plan includes five public items and several classified applications. Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine's goal is to «change the circumstances so that Russia is forced to make peace.» He believes that the implementation of the plan can allow ending the war no later than next year.

The main points of the Victory Plan:

1. Geopolitical — Ukraine's invitation to NATO.
2. Military — increasing defense capabilities.
3. Deployment of non-nuclear deterrents.
4. Economic — recovery of the economy.
5. Security — strategies for the post-war period.
