According to him, in the spring it is planned to gradually restore children's access to education in schools.

«In Vysokopillia, the construction of a school is in its final stages. The school management is already developing plans to organize shift work and provide transportation for students from neighboring communities,» said Oksen Lisovyi.

According to him, in 2024, 7.5 billion hryvnias of subvention were provided for restoring access to full-time education for schoolchildren. Kherson region received 848 million hryvnias, which includes a subvention and a grant.

Underground schools of Kherson

In April 2024, it became known that an underground school for 500 students would be built in Kherson.

In November, it was reported that instead of the planned four underground schools, only two would be built in the city. This decision was made because the townspeople began to protest against the construction, fearing artillery shelling.

After that, Bihus.Info journalists found out that the contractors of these projects have connections with government officials.
