Number of wounded in Zaporizhzhia shelling rises to 123

The number of people injured in the Russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia has risen to 123.
This was announced by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.
It is noted that 66 people are still hospitalised, 11 of them in serious condition. Another 50 victims are undergoing outpatient treatment.
Fedorov stressed that this is the largest shelling of Zaporizhzhia since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, where such a large number of victims were recorded at the same time.
According to him, the enemy attack occurred during rush hour, when residents were returning from work. The shelling destroyed two minibuses, killing passengers, and two people were killed in a tram passing by the site of the attack.
Strike on Zaporizhzhia on 8 January: what is known
On Wednesday, 8 January, Russian troops shelled the industrial infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia. Initially, six people were reported injured in the attack.
Two Russian KABs hit the roadway, damaging public transport and cars.
Later it became known that 13 people were killed and 18 others were wounded in the Russian attack. The Russians hit residential buildings.
By the morning of 9 January, the number of people injured in the guided missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia had risen to 113, with 13 residents killed.
