A young family with a nine-month-old girl has been returned from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, on his telegram channel.

According to the post, the child was born during the occupation, in extremely difficult conditions. Her parents tried their best to survive under the occupation, but it was almost impossible.

«The young parents tried to combine studying with part-time jobs, but their lives turned into survival — without electricity, water and security,» said Oleksandr Prokudin.

"Eventually, the young parents made a difficult decision to leave the occupied territory. The mother's 18-year-old brother escaped with them.

Now the family is safe in the government-controlled territory and receives all the necessary support.

As a reminder, 65 people who were deported by Russia to the border with Georgia were recently returned to Ukraine.
