The relevant draft decision was supported at a meeting on Wednesday, 28 January, according to NikVesti.
Oleh Kuksa, deputy head of the transport, communications and telecommunications department of the Mykolaiv City Council and head of the transport, communications and telecommunications division, noted that the decision regarding route №10 «Namyv microdistrict — Aivazovskyi Street» was made with the aim of quickly and fully charging the trolleybus battery. According to the draft, the total length of the route will be 56.1 kilometres.
«The route has proven itself in test mode,» he said.

Stops on trolleybus route №10As for route №11, Aivazovsky Street (circular), the route will be changed from Samoilovych Street to Okeanivska Street.
«This will be a safer exit to the intersection with Bohoiavlenskyi Avenue. The Department of Housing and Communal Services has carried out work to trim tree branches on Okeanivska Street,» Oleh Kuksa informed.
The municipal enterprise Mykolaivelektrotrans was instructed to make the appropriate changes to the route passports and agree them with the patrol police department in the Mykolaiv region.
In addition, the municipal specialised installation and maintenance enterprise must order and approve updated traffic management schemes. The administration of the Korabelnyi district will be instructed to equip bus stops in accordance with the updated route network.
We remind you that in Mykolaiv, in the event of prolonged power outages in remote areas, trolleybuses will be charged from generators, and if necessary, part of the transport will be provided by buses.
We would also like to remind you that due to the critical situation in Ukraine's power system, the direction and schedule of trolleybus route №8 in Mykolaiv have been temporarily changed.
The route will run as follows:
- Mykolaiv-Vantazhnyi Railway Station — Matviivka microdistrict (Sylikatna Street) to the final stop.
