Mykolaiv Oblast is one of five regions where a pilot project is being implemented to roll out the «Mriia» digital education app. So far, 150 institutions have joined the scheme.

This was announced during a briefing by Alla Velikhovska, Director of the Department of Education and Science at the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration, according to NikVesti.

She noted that «Mriia» is an app similar to «Diia», but specifically for education. According to Alla Velikhovska, institutions are actively submitting applications to participate in the project. The app will bring together all participants in the educational process: parents, teachers, pupils, those who assist with learning, and government representatives.

«There is a great deal of additional material there for all parents, for example, on career guidance. There is a wealth of material from psychologists on what to do if a child has any problems, how to spot bullying, and who to turn to. It also provides direct access to all relevant authorities; for example, if a mother discovers that her child is being bullied or doesn’t know who to turn to, all of this can be done through the «Mriia» app,» explained Alla Velikhovska.

By the end of May, according to the head of the Department of Education, they plan to have 280 institutions on board.

«Currently, 150 institutions are already participating in this project, and we plan to have around 280 institutions connected by the end of May. In general, the head of the military administration has set the task that by the end of the year – I understand this to mean by the end of 2026 – practically all institutions will have started participating in this project,» noted Alla Velikhovska.

As a reminder, pupils in schools across the Mykolaiv region will start their summer holidays on 5 June. This was announced by Alla Velikhovska, Director of the Department of Education and Science at the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration.
