This year, government and non-government mine action operators have already surveyed more than 115,000 hectares of agricultural land, of which 108,000 have been returned to economic use.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

«In April, pyrotechnic units surveyed almost 35,000 hectares of agricultural land. And in general, since the beginning of the year — more than 115 thousand hectares. As of the beginning of May, 108,000 hectares of them have been returned to farmers for economic exploitation,» said Economy Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.

According to the results of four months of 2024, pyrotechnics reached an average figure of 28.75 thousand hectares per month.
