In Mykolaiv, a working group will be created to develop the Integrity Plan of the Mykolaiv City Council, which will deal with the identification and minimization of corruption risks in the work of local authorities.

The relevant order of the mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Sienkevych, was published on the website of the Mykolaiv City Council, NikVesti writes.

According to the document, the working group must conduct an assessment of corruption risks and develop a plan to minimize them by August 15 of this year. Vitalii Yaroshenko, acting director of the department of internal financial control and anti-corruption of the Mykolaiv City Council, was appointed the head of the group.

Based on the assessment of corruption risks, the working group should develop an Integrity Plan of the City Council.

We will remind you that Mykolaiv cooperates with the EU Anti-Corruption Initiative, which was primarily called to help the city become a model of accountable reconstruction.

At the same time, we should note that the Mykolaiv region was included in the list of regions where, after inspections of declarations by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the largest number of signs of violations were found. We are talking about 19 million hryvnias.
