Ukraine and Türkiye agreed on cooperation in the rehabilitation of servicemen.

This is reported by the Ministry of Defense.

It is indicated that the pilot project includes, in particular, the creation of centers of excellence — institutions that will take leadership in the field of rehabilitation.

«We are very grateful for the assistance provided by the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine. Now its list has been expanded with cooperation in the rehabilitation sector. A pilot project on the rehabilitation of military personnel was recently launched. Its goal is to create an effective rehabilitation space with the participation of civilian and military healthcare institutions, social services and local self-government bodies. So thank you for your support and cooperation,» said Minister of Defense of Ukraine Nataliia Kalmykova at a meeting with Mustafa Levent Bilgen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Ukraine.

We would like to remind you that another rehabilitation department may appear on the basis of one of the Mykolaiv hospitals, where military personnel will be able to use prosthetics services for free.
