Ukrainian journalists visited the Russian city of Sudzha in the Kursk Region for the first time.

It is reported that the city of Sudzha itself was not badly damaged. Most of the damage is from aerial bombs dropped by the Russians themselves. There are people in the basements of houses. Now the Ukrainian military is taking them under their care. In particular, humanitarian aid was brought to them.

About 100 people remained in the city. In addition to adults, there are also children. Ukrainian defenders removed the Russian flag from one of the administrative buildings in Sudzha, located approximately 10 kilometers from the border with the Sumy region.

According to the journalists, at the entrance to the city there was a burned column of Russian army equipment with Russian license plates and specific enemy markings. Combat vehicles were driving towards the Ukrainian border.
