Mykolaiv athlete Peremeta and Ukrainian team win silver in the Grand Prix of Rhythmic Gymnastics in France

Valeriia Peremeta, a pupil of the Integrated Children's and Youth Sports School «Victory», won the silver medal in the Grand Prix in the rhythmic gymnastics team performance.
This was reported by the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
The third stage of this season's Grand Prix in rhythmic gymnastics was held in the French city of Thiers. The Ukrainian team was represented by three athletes in the individual championship and the national team in group exercises. In total, Ukrainian athletes won 9 medals.
As part of the national team of Ukraine, Valeriia Peremeta from Mykolaiv became a silver medallist with 5 ribbons in the group exercise. Her teammates were Polina Horodnycha, Kira Shyrikina, Nadezhda Yurina, Oleksandra Yushchak, and Leila Yusifzade.
Taisiia Onofriichuk also became the overall winner in the all-around, hoop, ball, clubs and ribbon events.
Polina Karika became a silver medallist in the hoop exercise, a bronze medallist in the all-around and a bronze medallist in the clubs exercise.
As a reminder, according to the order of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, three Mykolaiv athletes received the highest sports titles: «Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class» and «Master of Sports of Ukraine». It is noted that rhythmic gymnast Valeriia Peremeta was awarded the title of «Master of Sports of Ukraine of International Class» in Olympic sports. The reason for the award is her seventh place at the 2024 Olympic Games. The athlete is coached by Irina Deriuhina, Marina Kardash and Iryna Huseva.
It is also worth mentioning that in July 2024, Romania hosted the last stage of the World Challenge Cup in rhythmic gymnastics, where Valeriia Peremeta from Mykolaiv won.
