Israel

Israel is a country in West Asia. In October 2023 a war began between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip. In January 2025 the sides agreed on a ceasefire and the release of hostages and Palestinian prisoners, and in October 2025 the United States and mediating countries signed a ceasefire deal for Gaza. In June 2025 Israel fought a war with Iran: an Iranian missile hit an apartment block and killed a family from Odesa who had come to Israel for their daughter's treatment. On 28 February 2026 Israel attacked Iran again.

MykVisti also follows relations between Israel and Ukraine. According to the ambassador, Israel handed Ukraine Patriot systems it had once received from the United States. In April 2026 Ukraine asked Israel to arrest the Panormitis, a vessel carrying stolen Ukrainian grain.
