Traffic Restrictions

Traffic restrictions are temporary closures of streets and roads or changes to traffic patterns because of repairs, bad weather, heat or public events. In Mykolaiv traffic is most often restricted for repairs to heating mains, tram crossings and sewer collectors: on Pohranychna Street two-way traffic was restored only in April 2026, after almost two years of repairs. When the temperature rises above +28°C, lorries are banned from the region's roads during the day.
