Christmas in Mykolaiv and Ukraine

This tag covers Christmas celebrations in Mykolaiv and across Ukraine.

In 2023 Ukrainians first celebrated Christmas on 25 December under the new calendar. In Mykolaiv services are held at the Kasperivska Icon Cathedral and St Joseph’s Church, and a trolleybus with carol singers runs through the city. In December 2025 Ukraine backed a Christmas truce proposed by the German Chancellor, which Russia refused.

MykVisti covers Christmas services, concerts and holiday restrictions.
