prime minister of Poland since 2023

Donald Tusk is a Polish politician and the Prime Minister of Poland. He was born on 22 April 1957 in Gdańsk. He first led the Polish government in 2007–2014 and was President of the European Council in 2014–2019. On 11 December 2023 the Polish Sejm elected Tusk prime minister again, replacing the government of Mateusz Morawiecki.

In May 2025 Tusk announced that Europe’s largest logistics hub for rebuilding Ukraine would be built in Sławków. In August 2025 he spoke out against Budapest as a venue for peace talks on Ukraine, and in October 2025, after a conversation with Zelenskyy, he said Ukraine was ready to fight for another 2–3 years.

MykVisti covers Tusk’s statements on the war, support for Ukraine and Poland’s relations with the United States and the EU.
