appellate court in Mykolaiv

Mykolaiv Court of Appeal reviews rulings of local courts in Mykolaiv Oblast, including the Bashtanka District Court. As of April 2025 the court was headed by Ihor Livinskyi, whose 2023 declaration showed an income of UAH 2.9 million. In March 2026 judge Oksana Kutsenko resigned, and on 2 September 2026 President Volodymyr Zelensky appointed 13 new judges to the court in one day.

MykVisti follows high-profile appeals: the fatal crash case of athlete Olha Ladyha, the murder case against the head of Pliushchivka village, bail for the director of the regional blood transfusion station and sentences for those who helped Russian forces. We also report on judges' appointments and assets.
