Svitlana Fedorova

Svitlana Fedorova is an infectious disease doctor and civic activist from Mykolaiv, a former director of the Mykolaiv Regional Center for Infectious Disease Treatment and a former member of Mykolaiv Oblast Council.

She was elected to the oblast council in 2020 for the Nash Krai party and dismissed as director of the centre in December 2021. In January 2025 Fedorova applied to give up her council seat early. In 2026, as an activist, she attended sessions of Mykolaiv City Council, and after one of them she was summoned to the police. In July 2026 a court partly upheld a lawsuit by oblast council member Alla Riazhskykh and ordered Fedorova to record a video retraction.
